Frankenstein Fibers of Lawrenceville

I thought I would have these ready before the dye-fest (is there a better name somewhere?) tomorrow. After I iron and heatset everything I'm hoping the dye will do some interesting things under the paint. It's hard to see in the pictures but I used a lot of metallic paints. Just got word from Nadine that Fiber Fandango is on for Sunday!

So you paint first and then will dye?! I have a dye fest coming up in June! Can't hardly wait! So far I have 20 yards of fabric!

Yow! Don't go by me! I have no idea what I am doing with this experiment. Let's see what comes of it first. Some people have said I won't be happy with the results. They don't know how easily amused I am.

These look exciting. I can't wait to see what happens with the dye. Are you going to add some resist techniques, like duct tape or wax or do some pseudo shibori? Fiber Fandango sounds funfunfun!
